Target Audience:

People from different backgrounds and of all ages and occupations. Participants should reflect racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic diversity of a community, especially those who do not have a history of working together.

Program Description:
A 10 module training program for people who want to learn to work together. It is designed to identify and equip people from all parts of the community to play a greater role in civic problem solving.

Impact Highlights:

LeadershipPlenty was first launched in 10 cities throughout the nation, from Providence to Anchorage, and from Baton Rouge to Albuquerque. For three years, the Pew Partnership worked to recruit and train 600 emerging and established leaders. LeadershipPlenty is based on the lessons learned in these diverse communities about how to tackle tough issues their communities face. It is now being offered and implemented in more communities.
